The Role

The Chief Financial Officer is responsible for leading financial decisions for both our Technology Services and early stage Supply Chain Software platform. You will take ownership of our year-on-year revenue doubling with hands on management of the finance and accounting functions and a team that will work alongside you.  Being an integral part of the leadership team with the Board and Chief Executive execute in the delivery of organizational objectives by taking accountability for aspects of financial stewardship, execution and delivery of growth, business process, fundraising, acquisitions and exit strategy objectives.  In this role you will provide strategic direction, commercial and financial advice, and the resources necessary to support delivery of those objectives. You will support the Board in executing its governance responsibilities and ensure all stakeholders are appropriately informed on financial matters.

 

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Providing leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long term strategic financial objectives
  • Making recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and planning
  • Offering advice to Senior Management on the financial implications of business activities
  • Delivering accurate and timely advice on financial matters to the CEO and Board, and assist other ad-hoc related queries
  • Hands on team and reporting management
  • Provide organizational change to build systems and efficiencies to meet growth objectives

  • CFO experience with a high growth IT Services, Supply Chain or Platform provider
  • CA/CPA qualified or near qualified, with 15 years’ plus experience.

About you

Ideally you will have the following:

A CA/CPA with 15+ years of professional experience, including progressive finance leadership experience within a growing SME.

Experience performing mergers and acquisitions, due diligence and subsequent business integrations is highly advantageous, as is a foundation in external auditing services gained through work in chartered accounting.

A high degree of intellect and emotional intelligence, in addition to confidence in their commercial judgement and decision-making, will ensure this individual is successful in providing clear direction to the Executive Leadership team.

This position could be located in Sydney, Melbourne or Canberra interstate travel will be required from time to time when restrictions are lifted.

The Role

Reporting to the Head of Sales and CEO, this pivotal and influential senior position will be responsible for providing support to the national sales team by assisting with the tactical sales administration and processes management.  We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate and energetic candidate to join our collaborative and experienced team. The successful candidate will be capable of managing multiple tasks and conflicting priorities whilst delivering quality work with a high level of attention to detail. High productivity and a can-do attitude will be key to success within the role.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Day to day administration and support of the national sales team
  • Participation in the planning process and execution of sales proposals
  • Supporting the sales team with planning, implementation and tracking of marketing activity
  • Managing assets from various partners and following up as necessary with internal or external stakeholders
  • Maintaining and updating customer relationship management information
  • Assisting the sales team with research and information gathering
